Course Highlights
Collaboration with IT Teams:Work closely with IT teams to integrate security measures into the development and maintenance of systems and applications. Use security information and event management (SIEM) tools to analyze logs and detect anomalous activities. Incident Detection and Response:Investigate and respond to security incidents, including data breaches, malware infections, and other cyber threats. Make recommendations for improvements based on audit findings. Utilize threat intelligence to proactively defend against emerging threats. Configure and manage security infrastructure to protect against unauthorized access. Security Reporting:Generate and present regular reports on the organization's security posture to management and relevant stakeholders. Forensic Analysis:Perform forensic analysis on security incidents to understand the scope, impact, and root causes. Vulnerability Assessment:Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify weaknesses in the organization's systems and networks. Industry-recognized certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), may also be part of the training or pursued separately.
